I reached Kuching this afternoon.
I always feel better when I am in my hometown, once I stepped on the Kuching International AIrport.
Well, there is only one month holiday before I go back to Johor again.
My cousin will be having a wedding party on 5th December. He is married to a Perakian. To be more specific, Ipohian. Is there any terms like Perakian or Ipohian? Hehe. I just know Sarawakian. Cheers!~
So in this one month, I think I will just enjoying my life at home. My aunt asked me to find for part-time jobs but I think no people will want to engage me to work for them for only one month. Then she asked me to work for PC fair that will be coming soon. 1 day RM50. What do you think?
I know work for PC Fair in KL is RM80 per day but if it is compared to Kuching city, RM50 is considered high due to our low living cost compared to KL.
I am still thinking what to do in one month.
If you planned to go clubbing in Batu Pahat, you better don’t.
After my German language final paper, there was one week break before my next paper - Instrumentations and Measurements.
So we (Chee Hong, Leong, Bernard, Melvin and I) decided to go down to town to enjoy the night life after suffering so long for the papers.
There were quite a number of night clubs operating on Friday night. However, many of them are quiet like they were having funeral functions (Leong said). At last, we found one club.

De Palais. What a weird name. This name was misunderstood by me and Bernard before this. We thought it was called De Polaris and I thought it is a nicer name than freaking De Palais. Sounds like Balai Polis.

The interior - a lot of disco lights located every corner of this place.

After that we went to SOHO. This place was packed with a lot of Malays and we didn’t get in there because the phenomenon did not attract us.
Anyway, I still consider clubs in Kuching is better than those in Batu Pahat. I haven’t tried KL one yet. Heard that it’s funnier! Hopefully I can get into one of them soon.
I went to Batu Pahat with Hup Chie yesterday and unfortunately it rained. We hide from rain at Shell station near to Batu Pahat Mall. We are actually heading to Koon Ming’s house because they are looking for work.
They went to Old Town to fill in their particulars before they are approved for an interview.

This is Koon Ming. Koonming sounds like sleeping in Foo Chow right?

This is Hup Chie. Like Koon Ming, they are my seniors who are in the third year. These seniors never give me notes. >.<

They are more serious than studying err? Haha…
After filling form at Old Town, they planned to invest for other shops.

Forgot the name of this shop. It serves Japanese food. Also, they filled in the application form and left.
Before going home, Koon Ming, who lives in Batu Pahat, brought us to mamak stall for high tea.

This is the second time I ate Mi Rebus. Before this I ate Mi Rebus at Arked (Coffee shop at my campus). But I think this one is nicer. Does anyone know where can I find Mi Rebus in Kuching?
Hey guys, I am back! Finished my finals and many things to be packed before going home.
I went to Johor Bahru before the finals.

Actually Danga Bay is just like Kuching Water Front. It is located along a river.

There is a theme park there but unlike the theme park at Genting, this one looks like it is for kids. XD

The habour at Danga Bay.

Danga Bay has nothing to draw me to the attention. It has nothing. Even worse than Kuching Water Front. At least Water Front got a lot of stalls along the walking path.

However, there is one zoo which actually attracted me when a promoter showing a brochure to the pedestrians. The entrance fee for this zoo is RM10. Since the night is still young (It’s only 10pm), I went into the zoo.

The Petting Zoo.

These two parrots are lame. They can’t talk!

The scary snake.

This stupid tiger is so gay! It acts like a cat. Shit. Spoils the world’s tiger reputation.

GGGgrrrrr…

That’s all boring place at Danga Bay.
Next, I met with my friends at Johor Bahru and planned to sing karaoke at City Square.

This building is…

Johor Bahru City Square!
We went to Neway to sing. We got our student price by showing our student card. RM7 per pax including lunch set. Cheap right?
However, this cheap thing comes with a pay. We were served with nuts and tit bits before singing and we thought those little things were free. We finished them. At the end of the singing session, the receipt came and…

8 saucer plates of tit bits cost us RM54! Holy shit. That’s RM6.75 per small plate.

This trip ended with a movie called Coffin. Karen Mok was in it!

Story line is nice. But the ending sucks.

Not forgetting the new couple who was in the trip. Hope that they had a good time enjoying their first trip, perhaps.
