Day 3 – Semenggoh Wildlife and Annah Rais Long House

Before the trip started, breakfast was needed to fill in our stomach.

We went to this famous 3 layer teh c peng shop. It is located at 7th mile.

Soon after we had our breakfast, off we started our journey to Semenggoh Wildlife.

The Orang Utans somehow were shy. The guide in charge spent half an hour to woo the Orang Utans to get their food. And we spent half an hour standing there silently to wait for the VIPs.

They are not monkeys. Monkeys are different. They are just Orang Utans.

Next destination, Annah Rais Long House. Located near to Borneo Heights.

These are real skulls and I kid you not, it is said that there was a guy who touched one of these skulls and was fallen very sick for 2 days.

Everyone was sweating because of the hot day and we planned to Ranchan waterfall to cool them up.

Decision to Make

I have been using Digi for years.

Recently, just before I came back to Kuching, a group of red coloured boys and girls came to my cafeteria while I was having my lunch. They were from Hotlink. Well, I always rejected their offer for a few times when I was walking here and there looking for my food.

When I sat down and having my lunch as well, one red girl approached me and asked me whether I heard of the Youth Club from Hotlink or not. I rejected unhappilly because it was rude interrupting me while I was having my meal. But she kept explaining the plan and pushed me a brochure.

I saw calling rate of 0.12 sen per minute call to own operator. 0.15 sen per minute call to other networks. Wtf? So cheap? I put down my fork and spoon and asked for details and this girl earned my commission when I paid RM8.80 for a starter pack.

Now, the things happen here.

First, I don’t like to use too many phones. I am already a Digi user and you want me to take another phone to put on Maxis. I hate that. Not because I can’t handle to answer too many calls. It’s very inconvenience for me to carry 2 phones at a time.

Second. I need to inform all my friends that I have changed my number and I think it’s very ridiculous for me to do so. My Digi number has been registered under a lot of departments, not only friends but also a lot of networks from many places and in case they want to find me. Yes, I know I can switch my Digi number to Hotlink plan and I can’t just let go of Digi because of its mobile WLM (Windows Live Messenger), which is damn useful for me.

Third. The call rates between these 2 plans are a lot different. Hotlink Youth Club has the cheapest calling rate and I wish to use it. A lot of people know my Digi number but they do not know my Maxis number. Most important, I still like my Digi number because it’s simple and easier to memorise. :P

Oh damn. What should I do? So troublesome right? That’s the fact. Why they don’t merge together?

Live show from all the races.

I won’t introduce much about all the races in Sarawak because it seems boring. Haha. Cultural village has all the tradisional houses from various types of bumiputras. Such as the long houses, pagoda and so forth.

We go around Kuching town at night to buy the needs for Bako trip.

Day 1 – Damai Beach

Being a tour guide, Damai is the place to go on the first day as planned. But before that, someone had burned a hole in his pocket when he ordered this.

RM10 per dish. OMFG.

Ok. Back to the post.

We started our journey in the next morning (13 May) as they arrived Kuching on 12th May at night.

That’s the end of the first day spent.

Saw Ya

I dreamed of you again last night

This time you passed through me

Without putting me in your sight

It was at somewhere I can’t recognise

I was thinkiing, well it’s over

However you appeared to be sitting at my side

When I sat on the bench

You sat very close to me

like you want to merge our hearts

You left me in no time

I read your post

You mentioned about me

and again, it hurts. Tears.
